At times it feels like I'm walking on air. I can't believe how great the shoe of this boot feels. Sometimes I find myself looking down at the boot because I can't believe how good they feel on my feet. It's hard for me to find shoes/boots that fit so well.

I've owned these boots since last spring but after the past 3 weekend I had to write a review. I ordered them originally for a Anime Cosplay - which they were fine for, but the use was indoors. However I work at a Ren Fair in October and this year all we had was RAIN. I'd already had 3 different boots/shoes at the fair site, when I remember these boots. I had no idea how good they would be for the situation but I was running out of options as the other ones just weren't cutting it. For the past 3 weekends I have worn them all day long in mud and wet and often standing water. My feet were comfortable the whole time and only by then end of the day did my feet start to even get a little damp. I had done nothing to them to seal them or anything this was straight out of the box. I'm really happy about the purchase. Now trying to find something similar for my husband.

I swear to you, after reading these comments I was a little un-easy after I pushed the purchase button because of some of the bad comments about re-stocking fee's and "cheap, rotted product." At first I expected the ship day, (which I had placed a rush on), several days after Memorial Day weekend through an e-mail the company sent me but they actually got there the Sat. of the holiday which made me very happy! Also I had thought after learning about the company that sold them to me through Amazon, "Skimpy Outfits" that the name alone freaked me out, like OMG! I'm gonna get a cheap, stripper pair of boots.
When they arrived I was so curious/nervous and excited to see what I got and ended up immediatly thrilled with the product! The leather is nice, the sole is non-slip, the toe is a soft rounded point and they sexily but tastefully go almost up to my crotch! Very cool boots! I am 5'6" and have a wide foot and my calves are a little thick but my toes were'nt scruntched and the boot shaft was roomy and not so soft that they slide or slouch. They are just perfect! I am awesomely pleased! I out smarted a friend that got a $200.00 pair identical style from Nordstoms!
I'm an 8 1/2 so I got the 9's to be sure....perfect, perfect, perfect!

The actual soles of these boots are very comfortable. They're very flexible, and the bottom is rubberized, so walking on slick surfaces isn't an issue. They seem to run true to size, I wear a size 6.5, ordered a 7 (normally I wear thick socks with boots) and as expected, they're a tad big. So order true to size, they don't seem to run small.
The quality of the boot is good, you can fold over the top flap, scrunch them down, or wear them straight up if you like.
My ONLY issue with these boots is that they're very, VERY generously cut in the shaft part. So if you're slender, these WILL be baggy on your calves. For me, it's not too much of a problem since I'll be wearing them cuffed and scrunched down for Renn Faire, but I would have preferred a more fitted boot shaft. But for the ladies who have muscular calves or curvier figures, I think you'll be very pleased. (and have no doubt that you'll rock these boots!)
All in all, very nice, comfortable boots, decent quality for the price.

Seems to run small to me. I took them to a shoe repair shop and had them stretched and now they fit perfectly.
