I was anxious to get my first pair of thigh high boots. Didn't want to spend a LOT, and ended up not having to, thanks to Amazon.com.
I was worried the boots were going to look diff than the pics and a wrong size or a defect...but I got expedited shipping the next day, and to my awe, the boots fit well. (tip: order one size up...especially if you want to wear thicker stockings or socks...I wear size 9, so I got a size 10). They are manmade material, but doesn't look tacky. I got Black PU, I think. I might get these in the black patent leather now :) !!! Only thing is I have LONG legs and thin calves, and the boots look a lil' as if they fit a more muscular or filled-out woman, but if you're like me, you can just push the boots down a bit for a slouchy-boot look and it works great! everyone will love them...fierce!

My boots just arrived today and I could not wait to try them on. They fit perfectly and felt very good on my feet, I can't wait until this fall and winter when I will be able to wear these out they are much to hot to wear now. These boots match my school colors so they will look great when I go to late fall football games and winter basketball games. I have to agree with the other reviewers that these boots do fit tight. I am a very avid cycler and have muscular calves and thighs from many miles on my bike. As I zipped these boots up they were tight but not a problem. When I had them zipped all the way up the were just what I wanted. They fit every curve in my legs snuggly and looked great. I had been looking at these boots for about a year trying to decide if I should buy them affraid that they would not work for me because of my athletic legs. When the price got below $40 I had to buy them and find out. I love them and am so glad I bought them, I will be purchasing these in more colors.

The boots are just as advertised in the product description. As one reviewer mentioned, they are very tight, and you must have pretty slim legs to zip them all the way up. Even thigh muscles that come from exercise make these a bit of a tight squeeze. Remember, too, that if you're short, the boots will come up higher than they do on the model in the picture - above mid-thigh. One other comment - Since these boots are made of man-made materials, they are quite toasty inside. Your legs will sweat. Plan to wear them when it will be cold outside! Other than that, they do look just as advertised. We'll see what the reaction is when I wear them for the first time next week!

I bought these boots for a Halloween costume of mine. I'm 5'6 and I normally wear a 7.5. I ordered these in an 8 and it worked out great. These boots come up very high on me: halfway up my thigh, which is what I was aiming for.
As others have noted, these boots are very tight/small around the legs. I workout and stay pretty fit and these boots were hard to zip up until I got to the knee. They look great though, just be aware they can be difficult to put on.
